Fallon Jane is two months old! As if we couldn’t get anymore obsessed with her! She is such a joy for our family. Stetson loves to hold her, and she sure loves to be held (especially by mama). Miss Fallon has started smiling this month which is so life giving. I swear it seems like right when you want to pull your hair out, they do something so cute and you forget all about how hard it can be.

Fallon has been changing right before our eyes and I am doing my best to not let these moments slip through my fingers. She’s started to put on more weight and fill out. But I don’t think I will ever have chunky babies. So far they have both just been little string beans.

 

Fallon’s Two Month Milestones

 

• Smiling and giggling
• Putting weight on and filling out
• Making eye contact
• Napped in her crib for the first time
• Only wakes up once at night
• Taking a bottle much better

 

 

Mother’s Day As A Mama of Two

 

I seriously still feel like I am 18 sometimes. Like there is no way I am this adult. Right? How did I go from dumb teenager to married with a house and two kiddos to call my own? But that’s exactly where I am at. I’m now closer to 30 than 20. Something about that feels scary, sure. But I am also at so much peace. Getting older just keeps getting more and more fun.

This month I got to celebrate being a mama to these two miracle babies I have. And I wouldn’t trade that for my young, and dumb days. Not in a million years.

We spent the day at my parents house in California where it is HOT. But it was fun getting to be outside in the sun, play in the water, and watch Stetson enjoy time with his grandparents.

P.S. Taking a photo as a family of 4 is getting increasingly harder and harder.

 

What’s Next For The Elrod’s?

 

We are entering into a very busy travel season! Fallon will be going on her first airplane ride at the end of May and then again several more times in the coming months. I can’t wait to show her off to more family in the Pacific North West. Tyler is also a groomsmen in his friend’s wedding later this year so we will be heading up to Montana to celebrate the day with him. We are so excited to bring our kiddos back to where our love story all began.
