Our 3rd Wedding Anniversary and Gift Ideas

 

Today is the day I get to be extra mushy because it’s my 3rd wedding anniversary. And time sure does fly when you are having fun. These past 3 years have seemed to fly right on by and we have been BUSY! A lot has changed, but one thing has always stayed the same. Tyler is still the one I would pick every single day to do life with. He is still the one who I want to have babies with, grow old with, and chase big dreams with.

From being complete strangers in an airport to all the things we have done. Plus still plan to do. Life with Tyler is always busy, always exciting, and always so fun. Here’s to forever and a day with my very favorite person!

 

Our Wedding Day

 

September 4th 2021, was the most perfect day, even with all the imperfections. 10 days before our wedding we both tested positive for COVID. Our relatively unexciting planning experience got very intense right before it was the big day. At first I was not too concerned about it, but as time went on and several days in, we didn’t feel good and the stress of possibly cancelling our wedding was starting to get to me.

There was one day in particular Tyler and I both broke down crying and praying about the decision we were going to have to make. And because God always shows up in the most perfect way, about 10 minutes later our prayers were answered and we were able to carry our with our wedding.

The day itself was calm and peaceful. I was so in love that day. So excited and nervous and feeling all the best feelings that you should have on your wedding day. We had the best time dancing with our friends. Sharing intimate moments with our family. And finally becoming one flesh. God was so good and so present that day.

A Busy Three Years

 

In 3 years of marriage we have done a lot. We have had 2 babies. A boy and a little girl. They are the perfect additions to our life, and we aren’t done yet! Together we have started a trucking company and invested a lot of time and money into this dream in hopes of getting one step closer to the life we want as cattle ranchers.

It has tested us and pushed us to our limits at times. There have been good days and bad. But I would do each and every one of them over and over again.
