A peek inside our family photos

 

Our family photos from when Fallon was 2 months old are now my favorite thing on this planet. These photos of my family bring so many tears to my eyes. How are they mine? What did I do to deserve them? The other day I was scrolling Facebook and happened to scroll past a girl I went to high school with. I didn’t particularly have good memories with this girl. In fact she wasn’t always very kind to me. And back then I remember feeling pretty lousy because of some of the things she and others would say to and about me. And while I hold no hard feelings against her, I do feel so proud of these 3 faces in these photos with me. They are proof that God is so good, and that his love is greater than anything we might walk through.

 

I would take every bumpy road and hardship I have faced over and over again if it means I get to be Tyler’s wife, and Stetson and Fallon’s mommy. Sure, I may not be everyone’s cup of tea. But to these 3, I am everything! And they are my whole world.

 

So to you, when you see these photos on Instagram, you might just see some typical family photos. But I see the reason I breathe air. The reason the sun shines. I see my today, tomorrow and every day.
