5 months of Fallon Jane

 

5 months of Fallon Jane. One more month until this girl has been in our lives for half a year! It seems like just yesterday I was holding her for the very first time and now my baby is not so little anymore! In fact, she even has some chunky rolls on her thighs. Something her big brother never had. Which makes me so happy – mama loves a chunky babe!

Stetson’s 2nd Birthday

 

This month we got to celebrate Stetson’s 2nd birthday with a construction themed party! Of course miss Fallon dressed up for the occasion too! It was a very windy day but overall a ton of fun! It makes me that much more excited to get to plan Fallon’s first birthday party… but I’m also not in a rush! Stay small forever sweet pea!

 

4 Days without Dad

 

This month, Tyler was gone at a bachelor party for one of his best friends. So I solo parented for 4 straight days. It went a lot faster than I thought it would and it was fun to get to be on whatever kind of timeline I wanted for the kiddos. Him being gone meant we had easy girl dinners and time outside at 7pm riding horses. Which, taking a toddler and baby outside while you try to do anything for yourself is quite challenging. But we got it done and this mama got her horse time cup filled up!

 

Christmas in the summer

 

The last big hoorah we did before Fallon officially turned 5 months was go up to Washington for the Elrod family Christmas. Yes, we celebrate in the summer time every year. Sometimes just at Tyler’s parents house, other times we take a vacation! Fallon got to meet all her Elrod cousins and aunts & uncles. It’s always a fun time getting to watch all the kiddos and babies play with each other.

 

5 month milestones

 

Fallon is a real talker these days! She babbles so much and so loud! This girl has a lot to say for sure! She is starting to really like spending time with her daddy and loves hanging on the couch with him when mama is making dinner. Fallon is becoming even more mobile! She rolls a ton, loves being on her tummy, and can inch herself all around the place! I have this weird feeling she is going to start crawling soon which is so insane to think about! I absolutely love to dress her in cute outfits and shop for a little girl. There’s nothing like it! We are just so over the moon obsessed with our chatty, giggly babe!

I never think it’s possible to love her more than I already do, but every day she proves me wrong. She is such a light in our lives and we love to watch her come into her own personality. The future is so bright for our sweet little girl.
